Philippine Export Competitiveness Program
SGS was a subject resource for the Philippine Export Competitiveness Program (PECP), a seminar series for exporters, on February 4, 2016 at the DTI International Building, 375 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City.
Erika Frances Robel, Technical Sales Specialist of the Consumer and Retail division, represented SGS as a resource speaker, where she discussed Technical Services such as testing, inspection, verification and certification required for Philippine exports. Seafood safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability were briefly tackled as well. A consultation session with the SGS team was then facilitated after the talk.
BFAR representatives also provided talks on Procedures and Requirements for exportation of Fish and Fishery/Aquatic Products.
Among the attendees of the seminar are exporters of fish and fishery products, food, and hardgoods.
The PECP is an initiative of the Export Marketing Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry. It is also sponsored by the Export Development Council and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc.
