SGS Ranks 58th in Forbes Top Multinational Performers
With a market cap of $16.4 Billion as of May 2017, SGS secured the 58th spot in this year’s Forbes Global Top Multinational Performers.
According to Forbes, the list is a product of its new approach developed with Statista, Inc. to identify the Best International Employers, Top Regarded, Top Multinational Performers and Growth Champions among its annual Global 2000 list.
The Top Multinational Performers are public and private companies ranked by the amount of revenue generated outside its firm’s domestic market.
Earlier this year, the SGS group, headquartered in Geneva, reported a 4.8% increase in revenue with a total of CHF 6.0 B for 2016.
By geographical segment, Europe, Africa and Middle East contributed 44.4% in revenue, Asia Pacific with 30.0% and the Americas 25.6%.
SGS also ranked 83rd in Forbes’ list of Top Innovative Companies.
