This initiative was held to create a technical working group to support the programs at the grassroots level of specified geographical areas to direct private support for the control, repopulation and prevention of African swine fever.

In the meeting, the importance of coordination and communication was stressed between different branches of the government and private sectors to effectively and efficiently implement the programs. SGS Philippines,  as the third party accredited laboratory, will provide rapid testing of different matrices for the control and prevention of African swine fever to make the process smooth and manageable.
